Extreme rainfall alert

 

Sudden change in weather is being seen in various parts of India, due to which heavy rain and hailstorm warnings have been issued in many areas.

Delhi:

Rain which started in Delhi late Thursday night continued till Friday evening, causing waterlogging in many areas. The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain alert on Saturday, which is likely to increase the cold.

Rajasthan:

In Rajasthan too, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Ajmer, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Alwar and a yellow alert in 12 districts. There is a strong possibility of moderate rain and hailstorm in these areas. Rain has been continuing in Jaipur and Ajmer since morning, due to which a sharp drop in temperature has been recorded.

Uttar Pradesh:

Weather has taken a sudden turn in Uttar Pradesh too. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain, thunder and hailstorm with strong winds in 18 districts.

Mumbai:

Weather remains normal in Mumbai.  There is a possibility of a slight increase in temperature with abundant sunshine in the coming days.

Citizens are requested to follow the instructions issued by the local meteorological department and take necessary precautions.
