Wayne Osmond, member of the famous Osmond family and founder of 'The Osmonds' band, died on January 1, 2025 at the age of 73. He died at a hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he was admitted after suffering a massive stroke. Wayne passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Wayne Osmond was born on August 28, 1951 in Ogden, Utah. He was the fourth of nine children in the Osmond family and began his musical career with his brothers as the Barbershop Quartet in 1958. Later, 'The Osmonds' band rose to fame in the 1970s with hit songs such as 'One Bad Apple'.
During his life, Wayne faced several health challenges, including a brain tumor in 1997 and a stroke in 2012, which affected his hearing and ability to play guitar. Still, his dedication to music and his bond with family remained strong.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Kaitlyn White, and five children. His death is deeply mourned by family and fans, and his musical journey and positive outlook on life are being remembered.
